Evansville Tornado of November 2005 - The Evansville Tornado of November 2005 was a powerful tornado that formed on November 6, 2005, outside of Evansville, Indiana, a city in southwestern Indiana on the Ohio River. With 24 confirmed fatalities, it was the deadliest and most severe United States tornado in 2005 and the deadliest in Indiana since 47 died when several tornadoes hit the state during the Super Outbreak of 1974.
